Elizabeth Joanna Mitchell, born on the 27th of March, 1970 in New York City, at 5'9" she is an acclaimed American actress. Her roles include the role of Dr. Juliet Burke from ABC television's Lost series and FBI Agent Erica Evans for V. Gia. Mitchell appears in Eric Kripke's TV show Revolution which airs on NBC. Joseph Day Mitchell her stepfather is a lawyer based in Dallas. Josephine Marian Mitchell who is nee Jenkins is also is a Dallas lawyer. Mitchell along with her mother and two children moved from New York in Dallas Texas where Mitchell's mother was married in the year 1975. Mitchell was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts an all-public magnet school. Mitchell is the oldest of her three sisters, her two sisters are Kristina Kristie Mitchell (the youngest) Mitchell and Katherine Day Kate Mitchell. Mitchell received the degree of bachelor of acting studies in the acting department at Stephens College in 1991. She also studied at British American Drama Academy. Her most famous role is portraying the character of Special Agent Emily Prentiss (CBS crime drama Criminal Minds) In June 2010, the show announced that her Criminal Minds role would be cut in half for the sixth-season. Brewster's character may have left the series in March 2011.
