Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd started her combat sport career when she was 14 years old. She was trained in boxing, kickboxing BJJ and wrestling before making her amateur debut at age 18, at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to win three bouts within a row in Ultimate Reno Combat. All her opponents ended in less than a moment. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia was beaten by Aspen and beat her in a unanimous decision to put a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from the loss, and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen has signed her contract with Invicta FC in 2015 to start her professional career. Invicta Fc 11 was her first fight. She dominated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the bout in the first round with a TKO. Invicta 16 saw her rise into the Bantamweight division after winning her bout with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's impressive wrestling skills was able to take down McGill, and she was able finish her opponent in the 3rd round via TKO (elbows as well as punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy in Invicta FC 18, weighing weight catchweight (138.1lb) As Ladd failed to meet weight. Despite this, Aspen was able to dominate Hoy. The fight was won through a TKO during the second round. Invicta FC 21, she was victorious in her last fight for the promotion with a unanimous decision. In Aspen's UFC debut was during UFC Fight Night 118 when she faced Lina Lansberg. Aspen Ladd defeated Lina with a ground and pound advantage in the 2nd Round. She continued to dominate and was able to win a thrilling fight at the end of her fight against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229 Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute as well as a win of the night bonus.
